Downloaded pplive and finally got a chance to watch live broadcast of the final of Cincinnati Master’s Cup Final between Roger Federer and Andy Roddick.
It was a very sorry, or even ugly game for Roddick. Against Federer’s graceful skills, his looked coarse, unrefined, clumsy. Quickly Federer beat Roddick in straight sets and walked away with the championship.
Gone are the days of the time when Pete Samprass and Andre Agassi dominated man’s tennis world, no doubt Andy is the best American on court right now, but—— he is soooooo far behind his predecessors. This makes me miss the old times more…… Both Pete and Andre are players with a combination of talent, dedication, skill and strength. Our Andy here, what do you have beyond your serve??
We internationals all agree that American popular sports are ones of the most boring in the world, American’s value way much more on strength and power than any thing else: Indy 500, Football, …. Even for basketball, Shaq’s dominance and in flow of skillful international players all indicate the failing skill levels of domestic NBA players. Maybe, Andy Roddick is only an epitome of all American sports….
